I grew up in the worst neighborhood in New York, and then my life was changed by an SAT tutor when I became the first student of the Princeton Review at age thirteen. John Katzman raised my score so significantly that I qualified for Princeton University, where I started at age fifteen. At age sixteen, I started teaching classes for the Princeton Review, and later became the head of the Princeton Review of NJ. Since then, I have been obsessed with quickly changing the course of young people’s lives through test prep the way he did for me.
